Vodafone VoLTE Services Introduced in Maharashtra and Goa

Vodafone on Friday announced the rollout of Vodafone VoLTE services in Maharashtra and Goa including cities such as Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, and Vasai. Vodafone SuperNet 4G users can get Vodafone VoLTE (Voice over LTE) with no additional charges. All calls will be billed as per existing plan or pack benefits, hence experiencing the best from Vodafone’s Data Strong Network.

“We have been making significant investments to expand, upgrade and modernize our network to ensure that we provide the finest service experience and seamless connectivity to our valued customers. We are delighted to launch the Vodafone VoLTE services in Maharashtra & Goa beginning with Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Vasai, and Goa and will soon extend it to other key cities. Vodafone VoLTE is a step further towards enhancing customer experience and enabling our customers in Maharashtra & Goa to explore newer possibilities with their smart devices,” said Ashish Chandra, Business Head – Maharashtra & Goa, Vodafone India.

The company is currently providing Vodafone VoLTE services to OnePlus 3, 3T, 5, 5T, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2, Honor 8 Pro, Nokia 5, Nokia 8, Honor View 10, 9i, 7X, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro and Galaxy J7 Nxt.

Ways to get Vodafone VoLTE services on the smartphone:

  • You can benefit from the 4G VoLTE services only if your smartphone has the facility. It is only after your smartphone can adhere to the services provided by the network, then only you can enjoy the HD voice call quality.
  • To know if your device is capable to carry out the Vodafone VoLTE services, please head on to Vodafone’s official website: www.vodafone.in/volte.
  • Make sure the Operating System you are using on your mobile device has the latest version.
  • Make sure that the device has a Vodafone 4G SIM.
  • Go to settings.
  • Look for the tab: ‘SIM and Network’ and tap on it.
  • Make sure you ‘prefered network type’ is set to “4G/3G/2G (Auto)”.
  • If your smartphone has the feature to support the service and Vodafone provides the VoLTE service in your circle, then your smartphone will automatically switch to ‘VoLTE’ and your network bar will also show the same.
