Vodafone Unlimited Pack for a day at Rs 9 Announced

Vodafone has launched one-day Vodafone unlimited pack for its prepaid subscribers in Uttar Pradesh at Rs 9 only. Users will get 100 SMS and 100MB of 2G/3G/4G data that will also over at midnight. As per the company, the Vodafone unlimited pack will be beneficial for more than 60000 towns and villages in the circle. Last year the company launched a similar pack for Rs. 19. Apart from this plan, Vodafone also offers SuperPlans with unlimited calls and data benefits ranging from Rs 21 to Rs 458.

It is not yet clear if the plan will have FUP limit for calls or it is truly unlimited without any cap. Vodafone recently launched ‘Ramzan se Eid ul Zuha tak’ Rs 509 prepaid pack with 1.4GB data per day and unlimited calling for 90 days. Vodafone-Idea merger that was announced last year is expected to complete in the coming few weeks.

“74% of Vodafone customers reside in rural parts of the state, and a large number of families dwelling in these towns and villages of UP East have loved ones living in other states of India. They tend to use mobile phones primarily for calling, SMS and may log on to the internet for basic requirements. As the network of choice, we want our customers to get the value for money at a price point that fits their budget. Hence Vodafone unlimited pack at Rs 9 allows our customers to make unlimited calls, send 100 SMS, and enjoy 100MB of mobile internet surfing, for one day. Now, enjoy maximum conversations at a pocket-friendly price with Vodafone – The Data Strong Network,” said Nipun Sharma, Business Head – UP East, Vodafone India.
