Oppo launched another affordable smartphone F5 Youth, successor of Oppo F5, in India. The company aims to bring the same features of the F5 mobile phone to a more budgeted package for the younger generation. Just like the Oppo F5, the F5 Youth also supports facial recognition.

Oppo F5 Youth has 6-inch LTPS TFT display with a 1080×2160 resolution (FullHD+), runs on ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered with MediaTek MT6763T octa-core chipset clocked at 2.5GHz. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor at the rear and comes with a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. Oppo F5 Youth is priced at Rs 16,990 and will be available at major online and offline retail stores across India.
