Micromax on Friday has launched the budgeted smartphone Bharat 5 in India. Micromax Bharat 5 sports a 5.2-inches HD display, 1GB RAM, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, a massive 5000mAh battery and has 5-megapixel rear and front cameras.

Micromax has partnered with Vodafone to offer 50 GB free data from Vodafone to users who buy the Bharat 5. Under this offer, consumers will get 10GB data per month for five months. Bharat 5 is priced at Rs. 5,555 and will be available across the country through offline retail stores. Micromax is aiming to sell around 6 Million pieces by March 2018 and has also mentioned that it will launch Bharat 5 Pro and Bharat 5 Plus in the next two months.
