Lenovo ThinkPad Laptops Series Launched in India at Starting Price of Rs 54000

Lenovo on Thursday has launched the ThinkPad laptops series in India. The company unveiled ThinkPad X1 along with the T, X and L series of notebooks. Powered by the 8th Generation Intel Core processors, these ThinkPad laptops series come with thinner and lighter designs and with the support for Windows Hello Facial Recognition.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon starts at Rs. 1,21,000 and Y1 Yoga starts at 1,26,000. For Lenovo ThinkPad X280 price starts at 73,000 and ThinkPad X380 Yoga starts at 87,000. On the other hand, ThinkPad T480 priced at 69,000, T480s starts at 86,000 and T580 comes at 74,000. While ThinkPad L380 Yoga starts at 65,000, L380 starts 61,000, L480 starts at 54,000 and L580 starts at 55,000. ThinkPad laptops series will be available later this month in India.

As per the specification, ThinkPad X laptops series include X380, X280 models, ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and ThinkPad Y1 Yoga. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad Y1 Yoga are the world’s first laptops to feature Dolby Vision HDR display. It also provides Glance eye tracking with IR camera, and according to the company, the X1 Carbon is the world’s lightest 14-inch commercial laptop. It also sports an integrated pen and global LTE-A capability.

ThinkPad X-series involves X380 and X280 models of which the X380 is the premium model. Lenovo says that the X-series is mainly focused on the durability. The high-end X380 features Active Pen and secure access to an IR camera and Windows Hello. ThinkPad X280 is 20 percent lighter at 2.5 pounds and 15 percent thinner at 17.4mm compared to its predecessor. The laptop can charge up to 80 percent 60 minutes and offers up to 16.6 hours of battery life.

ThinkPad T-series consist of T480, T480s, T580, all of these focus on the performance, and powered by 8th Gen Intel Core processors. The T-series line-up features IR camera, fingerprint reader and ThinkShutter Camera Privacy to protect valuable user data. ThinkPad T580 sports a UHD display and delivers up to up to 27 hours of battery life.

ThinkPad L-series Yoga laptops include L380 Yoga, ThinkPad L380, ThinkPad L480, and L580. These laptops have a compact 13-inch form factor and are available in 14 and 15-inches size. It also offers optional multi-touch displays and is also powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core processors with AMD graphics on the ThinkPad L580 model.
