Honor 6C Pro Introduced with 5.2-inch HD Display, 13-megapixel Rear Camera
Huawei unveiled latest smartphone the Honor 6C Pro that highlights a metal unibody design, a 5.2-inch HD display and a 13-megapixel primary camera, among other things on Friday. The smartphone was introduced in Russia although pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed.
The Honor 6C Pro runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat, sports a 5.2-inch (720×1280) HD display with a 2.5D curved glass on top and powering the handset is a Mediatek MT6750 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. It will be provided in a single storage variant of 32GB, which is expandable up to 128GB through a microSD card.
On the camera front, the Honor 6C Pro bears a 13 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture on the back and an 8 MP selfie shooter. It powered a 3000mAh battery and includes connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, among other things. The handset measures 147.9×73.2×7.65mm and weighs 145 grams.
In terms of design, the Honor 6C Pro looks similar to the Honor 6C that was launched back in April. It features a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor on the back just below the camera module. The smartphone also sports antenna lines that run along the top and bottom. The power button and volume controls can be seen on the right while the SIM tray can be seen on the left.
The Honor 6C never made it to the Indian market, which makes it unlikely that we’ll get to see the Honor 6C Pro in the country any time soon. Separately, the company launched the Honor 7X earlier this week in China that highlights a 5.93-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, a 2.36GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, and a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras, among other things. Since the company has brought the Honor 6X and Honor 5X to India in the past, you can expect to see the Honor 7X to be available in the country soon enough.
