BSNL Rs 1595 Postpaid Plan Offers Unlimited Data and Voice Calls
BSNL has launched a new BSNL Rs 1595 postpaid plan for its subscribers. The postpaid plan is available to all BSNL postpaid users across India. Customers will have to pay Rs 500 as a security deposit if they want to switch from prepaid to postpaid.
The BSNL Rs 1595 postpaid plan offers unlimited on-net and off-net calls, without any restrictions, these include voice calls to landline numbers as well. While other operators provide unlimited local and national 250 SMS per billing cycle.
Additionally, users also get unlimited data, without any restrictions. But, while other operators give high-speed 3G / 4G data, BSNL is restricted to 2G / 3G network that can be a problem if you are in a poor coverage area.
BSNL is also working on rolling out 4G service that was set to commence sometime in January 2018, but there is no word on the progress. The state-run telco had also launched ‘Loot Lo’ offer in November 2017, offering discounts to subscribers who opt for quarterly, half-yearly or year plans.
To better compete with Reliance Jio’s plans, telecom operators have been slashing their rates, and also unveiling new plans with higher data benefits. Vodafone, Airtel and Idea Cellular, now offer prepaid packs with unlimited voice calls and 3G/4G data. However, there is a FUP limit to those plans. While on the other hand, BSNL is offering a postpaid plan with unrestricted data and voice calls.
