BSNL Postpaid Plan of Rs 499 Offers 45GB Monthly Data

BSNL has announced a new BSNL Postpaid Plan of Rs 499 for its postpaid users. BSNL Postpaid Plan of Rs 499 offers 45GB of monthly data and unlimited voice calls. This postpaid pack doesn’t come with data rollover facility, which carries forward the unused data in the next billing cycle.

BSNL launched the plan against Reliance Jio’s Rs. 509 plan that provides a total 60GB data with a daily limit of 2GB. While Bharti Airtel brought its Rs. 499 postpaid plan offering 40GB data per month along with unlimited voice calls and one-year Amazon Prime subscription. On the other hand, Vodafone and Idea Cellular also give postpaid pack worth Rs 499 with 40GB data benefits for a monthly billing cycle.

However, the latest BSNL Postpaid Plan of Rs 499 provides 45GB of monthly data, which is more than what Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea is offering at Rs. 499. The bundled data limit with the BSNL plan is not at par with the Jio Rs. 499 plan gives 60GB data. Nevertheless, BSNL plan additionally gives unlimited voice calling with no monthly FUP limit as well as 100 SMS messages per day.

The details about the plan being live aren’t yet revealed. People can contact the customer care regarding the availability of the plan in their region.

BSNL earlier this month launched Rs 98 prepaid plan under the ‘Data Tsunami Offer’ for providing its prepaid customers 1.5GB data per day for 26 days. This brought down the data per GB cost to Rs. 2.51, cheaper than what you can get on Rs. 149 pack by Reliance Jio or Bharti Airtel. The BSNL pack didn’t come with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day limit that is widely given by private telecom operators.
