Asus Zenfone 4 Gets Android 8.0 Oreo Update

Asus has started the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Zenfone 4 with model number ZE554KL. The update for Asus Zenfone 4 is version number V15.0405.1711.76 and it might take about a week for wide roll out. Users can check the update manually by going to their phone’s Settings>About>System Update.

The latest update brings numbers of features and changes such as a more friendly setting UI design, a fully redesigned emoji set, picture-in-picture mode, adaptive icons for consistent icons, autofill, smart text selection, and notification dots. Additionally, the update also features Android Instant Apps that use new Apps right from a browser and no installation is required. Also, after the update, users will notice some important changes to the launcher.

Asus ZenFone 4 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and runs on ZenUI 4.0 based on Android Nougat 7.1.1. The smartphone packs a 3,300mAh battery and has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space.
