Apple Releases New iOS 11.2 Update for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad

 

 

Apple just released iOS 11.2, for all compatible iPhone, iPad, iPod touch models, a month after the release of iOS 11.1.  The new iOS update comprises of Apple Pay Cash and faster 7.5W wireless charging support for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the iPhone X, and several fixes involving a date crashing bug that emerged last week on a large number of iOS devices. The update also brings three new live wallpapers for iPhone X, redesigned camera emojis, better video camera stabilization.

The iOS 11.2 update is about 430MB in size that varies depending on the device and is already available over-the-air (OTA). It is compatible with iPhone 5s and later, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation, iPad mini 2 and later and iPod touch 6th generation. Check out the complete details below.

iOS 11.2 launches Apple Pay Cash to send, request, and receive money from friends and family with Apple Pay. This update also includes bug fixes and improvements.
