Apple iMac Pro will soon be Available in India Starting at Rs. 415000

 

Apple India announced that its iMac Pro desktop computer will be available soon at a starting price of Rs. 415,000. The PC was introduced at WWDC 2017 annual developer’s conference back in June. It features an all-in-one design similar to existing iMac but comes in new Space Gray color option.

The computer has a 27-inch Retina 5K (5120 x 2880 pixels) display with support for 1 billion colors, 500 nits brightness, wide color (P3), is powered by 8-Core, 10-Core or 18-Core Xeon processors with 8GB Radeon Pro Vega 56 GPU, configurable to 16GB Radeon Pro Vega GPU, has 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 ECC memory, which is configurable to 64GB or 128GB and has 1TB SSD, which is configurable to 2TB or 4TB.

iMac Pro comes with new Radeon Pro Vega GPU, up to 16GB of on-package high-bandwidth memory (HBM2), delivering up to 11 Teraflops of single-precision compute power for real-time 3D rendering and immersive, high frame rate VR. For half-precision computation, ideal for machine learning, iMac Pro delivers up to 22 Teraflops of performance.

iMac Pro also supports up to 4TB of SSD and up to 128GB of ECC memory, and with four Thunderbolt 3 ports can connect to up to two high-performance RAID arrays and two 5K displays at the same time. It also features 10 GB Ethernet for up to 10 times faster networking for the first time.

Apple started selling its top-end iMac Pro desktop PC from in the United States starting at US$ 4,999 (Rs. 3,20,760 approx.).
