Airtel Rs 249 Prepaid Plan Announced, Revises Rs 349 Plan
Bharti Airtel has announced a new Airtel Rs 249 prepaid plan for its customers. Airtel Rs 249 prepaid plan will offer 2GB per day for 28 days. The plan will replace the existing Rs 349 prepaid plan that provided the same benefits. The telecom operator has also revamped its prepaid plan of Rs 349 that will now offer 3GB data per day from the previous 2.5 GB data daily.
People will get a total 56GB 3G/4G data under the Rs 249 plan with a validity of 28 days. The prepaid pack will be available through the official website and My Airtel App. The other benefits under Airtel Rs 249 prepaid plan include free local and STD calling, free national roaming and 100 free SMS per day.
On the other hand, the Rs 349 prepaid pack will now provide 3GB 3G/4G data daily for 28 days. Users will get a total 84GB 3G/4G data under this prepaid pack. The earlier Rs 349 plan offered 2.5GB data per day that is total of 70GB data for the plan duration.
Airtel Rs 249 prepaid plan competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 plan that also offers similar data benefits. Jio’s plan provides 56GB data for a period of 28 days with a daily cap of 2GB data per day. It also offers unlimited calling, STD, and national roaming calls. Furthermore, the plan gives access to Jio Apps.
Recently, Airtel has launched the Rs 499 plan that offers 2GB per day for 82 days. The plan also gives unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMS daily. Users will get a total 164GB data for a period of 82 days.
