Airtel Prepaid Plans of Rs 149 and Rs 399 Revised, Offers Extra Validity
Bharti Airtel has revised Airtel prepaid plans of Rs 149 and Rs 399 to offer extra validity. The revision of both Rs 149 and Rs 399 plan can be seen as a direct reaction to Jio’s prepaid plans offered at same price and validity.
The Airtel prepaid plan for Rs 149 will now offer 1GB daily data with unlimited local and STD calls, and 100 SMS per day for a validity period of 28 days. Although, this prepaid plan is not available in all regions. However, the plan has been revised for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles. Airtel customers who want to avail of the new Rs 149 prepaid plan should check the information for their respective circles online before recharging.
In contrast to Airtel’s Rs 149 plan, Reliance Jio also provides Rs 149 prepaid plan with 1GB data per day, 100 SMS, and unlimited local and national callings. Furthermore, this plan also offers free access to the telco’s suite of Apps.
Along with the Rs 149 plan, Airtel has also revised its Rs 399 prepaid plan, which now offers 84 days of validity, 1GB 4G data per day, unlimited national and local calls, and 100 SMS per day. Previously, Airtel’s Rs 399 prepaid plan used to offer 70-day validity instead.
Reliance Jio also gives the same benefits with its Rs 399 prepaid plan. Jio’s Rs 399 plan also provides 1GB data per day, Unlimited VoLTE calls, 100 SMS, and a complimentary subscription to Jio’s applications.
Recently Jio revised the data limit on its Rs 153 plan that offers 28GB data for 28 days, with a limit of 1GB data per day. While Airtel previously launched a new Rs 59 prepaid plan to provide unlimited calling with free bundled data for 7 days.
