Airtel 30GB Free Data Offered to its VoLTE Beta Users

Airtel with a new VoLTE Beta program offers Airtel 30GB free data in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh to ask its subscribers for feedback regarding the VoLTE services before expanding it to other circles. Airtel is already providing VoLTE services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai and West Bengal circles.

How to get Airtel 30GB free data

  • To be eligible, a person needs to be in the circle where Airtel VoLTE Beta program  is live (West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh)
  • He/she needs to has an Airtel VoLTE-compatible smartphone
  • Then, go to Airtel VoLTE beta page and validate his/her mobile number
  • If he/she is not eligible, then it will show “Hi there! Airtel VoLTE is currently unavailable on this number “
  • And if eligible, then he/she will get an OTP that need to enter on the website, confirming the participation in the beta program
  • After confirmation, 10GB data will be credited to the mobile number which is valid for 28 days
  • He/she will be required to share feedback regularly regarding VoLTE services
  • Another 10GB data will be credited on giving feedback on VoLTE services at the end of week 4, and another 10GB at the end of week 8

Airtel says that customers in VoLTE beta program may face network fluctuations.  The beta program might grow to other circles in the future. It is a good thing that Airtel is expanding its VoLTE services in the country, however, it should also work with OEMs to push software updates for the mobile phones to enable VoLTE.
